- Photograph the page flat and square-on, in even light; a shadow across the page is the most common cause of garbage.
- Mixed-language pages: pick the "+ English" option, otherwise English words come out as Sinhala-looking noise.
- Output is Unicode. It pastes into Word, Google Docs, WhatsApp and Excel as-is — no FM Abhaya or Bamini fonts needed.
Amber words are under 75% engine confidence, red under 50%. Check them against the image, then fix in the Text tab.
