Under the Payment of Gratuity Act, once you've completed five years you're owed half a month's salary for every completed year when you leave. Put in your dates and see what that is today — and what waiting another year or two is worth.
Applies to employers with 15 or more staff. Service counts in completed years; the Act does not pay for part-years. “Last drawn salary” is what the employer paid in the final month — whether allowances count depends on your contract, so enter what your HR would use. Gratuity may attract tax as a terminal benefit; this shows the gross amount. Not legal advice — confirm with HR or the Labour Department.
Each row applies your expected salary growth to the last drawn salary and counts the completed years at that leaving date. The jump at the fifth anniversary is real: leave a week early and it's zero.
